Good Music

Man! There’s a considerable amount of new GOOD music coming out. I’m impressed. It’s crazy. I just remember a few years ago, in the States, House music came from such an underground form of music. And look at it now… it’s the best genre of music out there.

As with the usual amount of hype on any new “thing,” House music became so mainstream that many popular rappers and r&b artists have collaborated with super producers such as France man David Guetta and the infamous AfroJack, creating the ultimate style of dance music.

That’s what it is about house. Beside the passion, and the way the sound has its very own way of telling a story, house music is very adaptable - making it possible for many types of genres to bleed through it. You can literally take an existing song, slice it up, add a few of your own drums, and a snappy lead with a simple - catchy melody, add those slices in, and BOOM! A remix is born!

For example, I’m working on a new remix. I’m taking the very popular record from Joe Arroyo - Rebellion, and making a completly different version of the tune by adding a lead hook and some deep bass with a big kick drum. I’m adding this kind of wind effect - and it’s pulsing in the background - growing through the first build up and into the break. But that’s enough of that. Can’t tell you all my secrets.

Make good music!
